Kokopelli House is an Impressive three-story residence embodying the relaxed atmosphere of tropical Island living, which is the inspiration for this "Key West" styled home. Beautifully decorated in contrasting pastel shades where the lifestyle is defined by the light, vibrant colors and the aqua blue water.
Reached by a short staircase or private elevator, the second floor leads directly to the main family room, thoughtfully furnished to reflect the casual waterfront lifestyle and offers a spacious living area with wide-screen TV. Retractable sliding doors open from the living area to the wrap-around balcony offering unsurpassed views of the bay, a short staircase leads down to the large south-west facing sundeck with private swimming pool and spa.
The open-plan kitchen has everything that could be required for a relaxing family vacation, microwave, glass-top stove & oven, automatic dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer – the list goes on. Adjacent to the kitchen is a center Island/bar with seating for six, additional outdoor dining is available on the wrap-around balconies. A utility room includes front-loading family washer and dryer.
Four spacious bedrooms plus the additional third floor private king suite with adjoining sitting room complete the accommodation - a private elevator services all 3 floors.
The home is within walking distance of all that the art community of Matlacha village has to offer - boutique shopping, seafood restaurants, live music and quirky art galleries. If your interest is fishing then Matlacha Pass, Pine Island Sound, and the other surrounding waterways are known to offer some of Florida's richest fishing grounds. You can hire guided trips for inshore fishing, rent a kayak, or take the water taxi from nearby Pineland marina across to the beautiful off-shore islands of Cabbage Key and North Captiva Island.

Guests should be aware that in keeping with numerous waterside properties in the area and to enhance their natural views, the deck area and swimming pool is NOT surrounded by a pool cage structure. For child safety, access to the pool area is via a lockable door.
Guests with boat trailers……… Waters around Matlacha sound can be very shallow in parts and may not be suitable for all types of boats – you are cautioned to research the Internet for further Information – public boat ramp access is located half mile away.

De plek was veel groter dan verwacht en had een geweldige indeling. Schoon... We waren met 9 personen en niemand zat krap omdat het zo ruim was. Genoeg bad- en zwembadhanddoeken. Voorzieningen in de keuken waren geweldig, een wasruimte was een groot pluspunt. Het zwembad en de steiger dicht bij elkaar was leuk om de kinderen in de gaten te houden. Ik vond het heerlijk om 's avonds laat de garage in te kunnen rijden om de auto's in te pakken en niet in het donker te hoeven zoeken. Ik belde over een probleem dat meteen werd aangepakt, reactietijd A. Prachtig uitzicht en zonsondergangen, zeer ontspannend. Ik raad aan om kajaks te huren omdat je een aanlegsteiger hebt. Er is een plek in de buurt die ze voor je aflevert en weer ophaalt. Opmerking voor mensen die veel gebruik willen maken van de steiger en kinderen hebben. Neem oude handdoeken mee om bij het zanderige pad te leggen om voeten af te vegen. Ik leg ze ook onder en boven aan de trap en voordat ik het huis binnenga. Het helpt echt tegen het opsporen van zand. Ik heb dat jaren geleden geleerd. Als je niet van deze plek geniet, is er iets mis want we vonden het allemaal geweldig. Als de goede God het toelaat kom ik weer terug met mijn kinderen en kleinkinderen.

Wat een geweldige plek om te verblijven. We hadden 10 mensen in onze groep en er was genoeg ruimte voor ons allemaal. Het uitzicht was absoluut geweldig en de steiger was geweldig om te vissen en rond te hangen. We zagen dolfijnen en pijlstaartroggen bij de steiger. Er was een grote voorraad kookgerei en heel veel borden, bestek en glazen. We zullen hier zeker weer verblijven.

21-28 juni 2025 Kokopelli House, Matlacha Vistrip Heb hier al vele malen verbleven en de accommodaties zijn altijd uitstekend! Het huis is perfect voor ons evenement en het uitzicht aan de achterkant is fantastisch...

Prachtige locatie. Rustige gemeenschap. Het huis is in het echt mooier dan de foto's doen vermoeden. De garageruimte was ideaal voor kajaks en peddelplanken. Matlacha is nog herstellende maar we vonden het geweldig om lokale bedrijven te ondersteunen.

Huis was schoon en precies zoals geadverteerd. De gastheer was erg behulpzaam en transparant. Dit huis ligt op een geweldige locatie in Matlacha. Geweldig uitzicht en vissen. Zwembad was schoon en warm. Zou deze woning ten zeerste aanbevelen voor uw verblijf.
